One gun's recoil doesn't work in the middle of the game and we have to restart the gun to reset the recoil. One gun does not work completely, it will turn on but it will pick the wrong team and restart itself before the count down finish. We bought two orders, 4 guns total and 3 out of 4 guns are defective. So why the one star, the guns have super high defective rate. All my friends loved it and bought their own on Phoenix LTX the spot. We had friends over and played adults vs kids. The gun is a lot of fun, my husband and I played with the kids every night since we got it. I did a lot of research and this is by far the most recommended laser tag guns. If it doesn't work, then take the blaster part like you see in the videos. In most cases you'll be able to reload as if the blaster was brand new. Then use that swab to lubricate and clean the reload switch on either side of the exterior handle. Put some oil (wd40) on a cotton swab and carefully lubricate the two plastic components by the springs you can see. Turn the blaster off, carefully unscrew the five black screws in the handle, open the handle enough to peak inside and see the inner components. If you catch the problem before it gets too bad, then there is an easier fix. There are a few great videos online showing how to take the blaster apart, lubricate and reseal. The plastic clip reload machinery inside the handle must be lubricated. You just cannot reload or it is too difficult and time-consuming to do so. Sometimes stick so much that the blaster becomes unusable. The reload switches by your thumb can stick. For the reasons above your money is well-spent. The value of about $20-30 per blaster is worth it. Don't drop them on concrete or leave them outside overnight, but with reasonable care they can last for years.Ħ.
